An easy day trip - the towns of Waratah and Corinna offer access to the Tarkine Wilderness. Imagine being immersed in a land of ancient rainforests and waterfalls - wild, mysterious, and breathtakingly beautiful.

Wynyard explodes with colour and life for Wynyard Tulip Festival – held on the second Saturday in October each year. (Note: Festival has been cancelled for 2020, however a series of smaller events from 25 September to 15 October will be held instead). Take a tour of the historic lighthouse, view our Fairy Penguins and Giant Freshwater Lobsters, or unearth locally made treasures at one of our many art and craft markets.
